Zante Soul Weekender was born from a simple idea, and a lot of conversations.
While DJing in Zante during the mainstream summer season, I spent years playing to the usual holiday crowd, mainly 18 to 20 year olds. The energy was great, but something was always missing, and that was friends of mines? people of a more mature age, who loved the same music I grew up with. They would often say they wanted to join me in Zante… but not if it meant partying alongside kids and to music that didn’t reflect them.
We all shared the same feeling.
